Our exhibit, Rise from Ruins: The Great Lockport Fire of 1895, closes on Wednesday, September 25. But before it goes, join us for one last event: “Last Look: Untold Tales of the Lockport Fire” at 7pm on the 3rd floor of the Gaylord Building.

Curator Clint Cargile will reveal fascinating stories that didn’t make it into the final exhibit (how the Lockport fire saved the mayor’s life, why there was a violent, drunken riot right after the fire, and more!) Plus, artist Kevin Traynor will be there to answer questions about his stunning chalk murals.
